- Lot Description
[MAN RAY (1890–1976)]. Documentation of "Composition Constructiviste". Paris, early 20th century. Set of three silver gelatin photographs on glossy paper documenting an oil painting by Man Ray titled "Composition Constructiviste," completed between 1920/1922, likely part of Jacques Doucet's art collection. Stamped verso with the photography studios' contact information and "Man Ray / Composition constructiviste/ Huile sur bois circa 1920/1922 / 16 x 15 cm sans le cadre / 25 x 23 cm avec le cadre / ex collection Doucet."
Each photo 9 ½ x 7". Paper lightly toned, one with pen mark below image. Good.
