Engraved map of North Rhine?Westphalia and Lower Saxony, (464 x 600 mm) with some contemporary hand?coloring, title within bootstrap cartouche, Latin text on verso (Ven den Broecke 1579/1580L2Add26a). (Some marginal browning, some spotting to image, few tiny chips along upper edge). One of 250 copies printed from the first edition of Ortelius? Theatrum Orbis Terrarum. Van den Broecke 91.1.
