[MAPS AND PRINTS]. [WASHINGTON, George (1732-1799), and?WASHINGTON?(CUSTIS), Martha (1731-1802), subjects]. [EHNINGER, J. W. (1827-1889), artist].??Washington?s First Interview with Mrs. Custis (Afterwards His Wife.)??[N.p.]: Engraved by G. R. Hall, [ca. 1863]. Handsome, large hand-colored engraved image depicting George?Washington?and Martha Custis and her two children in a lovely parlor; in the background on the left, a mounted servant is visible leading another horse (presumably?Washington?s). Sight approximately 19 x 22 ??. Matted and framed under plexiglass. Frame size approximately 26 x 29 ??. Some light toning, occasional soiling, one marginal tear at right margin visible, sticker residue on side of frame at right. Near fine. Rare. Not examined out of frame. Measurements: 26 x 29 ? x 1?.
