- Lot Description
Masonic Ahlstrom Timer with Bell/Gong. [Brooklyn, NY: Oscar G. Alhstrom, ca. 1895.] Timed bell with interior clockwork, manufacturer's instruction label in wooden case with hinged door with bell/gong at top. When arm is moved the bell rings multiple times (there is a delay switch on the side which appears to be non-functional, but bell does ring). 6 x 4 x 9 ?". Nail holes on base, some wear, soiling. Good. Ahlstrom was a Freemason, and these were produced for the use of Masonic rituals.
