MATTA, Roberto (Chilean, 1911-2002) Sun-Dice. 1949. Color screenprint on canvas. Signed and titled in plate, lower right. 10 x 15 ??. Burlap: 11 ? x 17 ??. Published by Katzenbach & Warren, Inc. to advertise their Mural Scrolls project in which designs by Matisse, Miro, Matta and Calder were reproduced in intended editions of 200 as large-scale silkscreen murals measuring 4 x 6 feet to 6 x 10 feet. Unframed. Surface dirt overall, more in corners and edges. Canvas toned. Upper left canvas loss at corner, ?? square.
