Matthai Ingram Wind Up Fly Fan. Baltimore: Matthai Ingram Co., 1887. Wind up fan base with safety clip to halt fan. Base is cast iron with decal on bottom (half of decal is missing), wind up mechanism works. With the rare original cloth fan blades over metal structure. Some general wear, soiling, a few holes in blades. Rare. This fan was design to swat flies away outdoors.
