Half crimson levant ruled in gilt, raised bands tooled in gilt, compartments twice framed in gilt, remainder with gilt titles, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, stamped by Bayntun (light spotting to preliminary leaves). FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, FIRST STATE with the scarce publisher?s ads and the misprint ?help him? on p. 257, line 4. Stott 14.
