Folio. 113 photogravures after original photographs taken by the author (2 double?page including frontispiece), full?page colored map, large folding half?tone plate mounted on linen in pocket at rear. Publisher?s dark blue cloth lettered in gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut (spine gently sunned, few tiny scuffs or stains to covers). LIMITED EDITION number 521 of 568 copies SIGNED by the author. Includes numerous images of African wildlife captured at close range by the author and accompanied with text recounting his adventures and observations of the animal?s behavior.
