Bristol: John Grabham, 1759. 12mo. 129 pp. Contemporary full calf, rebacked in modern calf, gilt, brown gilt morocco lettering label (boards worn, restored, with color correction, new endleaves and blanks, text toned, soiled, somewhat worn). Good. EIGHTH EDITION. This manual, first published in 1747, was a popular tract published by Methodist founder and cleric Wesley. It was a response to his feeling that medicine at the time was too expensive for most people; it contains information on various treatments for ailments. Measurements: 6 x 3 x 1?.
