Mills Superior 5 Cent Poker Reel Trade Stimulator. Mills Novelty, ca. 1904. Tabletop five-reel trade stimulator. Beautiful original castings and wooden cabinet; original mechanism and reel strips. Award card and marquee list the number of cigars won, corresponding to the poker hand shown (marquee appears to be an older, well made re-casting). In addition to the slot mechanism, this machine dispenses a fortune ticket to the customer, operated with a second lever on the side. Slot and fortune mechanisms working (full roll of fortunes included). 23 ? x 19 x 14?. Lock and key included both for back door and side cash box. A rare and impressive early machine.
