MILNE, Alan Alexander (1882?1956). Winnie the Pooh. London: Methuen & Co., [1926]. Square 8vo (222 x 171 mm). Illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard, folding map of Hundred Aker Wood at rear. Original publisher?s blue cloth?backed boards, printed paper label to upper cover, edges uncut (corners a bit rubbed, few tiny stains to upper cover, else fine); custom leather?backed folding box gilt. LIMITED EDITION (published the same year as the first trade edition), number 136 of 350 LARGE PAPER COPIES printed on hand?made paper, SIGNED BY MILNE AND SHEPARD.
