Miniature Dog Saddle. Mid-twentieth century. Hand-tooled tiny leather saddle with stitched pommel and leather fringe. Metal backing under seat made from a vintage can of Schlitz beer. Crafted for a dog and monkey show; trained monkeys rode on trained dogs that jumped through hoops and over obstacles. Approximately 9 x 8?.
