  Moffat, Robert. Missionary Labours and Scenes in Southern Africa. London: John Snow, 1842. Original embossed dark green cloth, spine lettered gilt. Yellow endpapers. Color engraved frontis., title vignette, large folding map of South Africa, illustrations on plates and in the text. 8vo. 12pp. ads. bound in at start. Bookplates and library markings to title, occasional spotting and light soiling, covers bumped and scuffed, but overall a good or better copy of a scarce volume. One illustration, called for on page 618, ?The African Suppliant,? is not reproduced on that page, but appears to be included on the terminal page 620, entitled ?Thy Kingdom Come,? that depicts an African in supplication.
