Monarch Bicycle Advertising Playing Cards. Cincinnati: USPC, 1895. 52 + J + EC + OB. With the rarely seen extra card depicting trick bicyclist Lee Richardson. Early example of an advertising deck with special court cards. Each king features a portrait of ?King Cooper?, aces feature suits inside bicycle wheels. Red backs with lion in bicycle wheel. Box with a testimonial from American actress Lillian Russell. Box lacks top flap. Overall, very good. A special deck. Hochman A12.
