Fleming, Ian. Moonraker. London: Jonathan Cape, [1955]. First edition, first printing, second state with ?shoot? correctly spelled on p. 10, 2 lines up. Publisher?s B binding of black cloth measuring 194 mm tall, spine and front board lettered in silver, spine with publisher?s device in silver at foot, later impression dust jacket with reviews on rear flap; with "10s.6.net" price on both flaps. 8vo. Jacket toned with staining to front panel, pale spotting or dust soiling to rear panel, South African bookseller ticket and stamp to front endpapers, occasional browning or foxing to margins. A very good example of this elusive title. Gilbert A3a (1.2). The third James Bond novel.
