NEES, Gerald (American, 1938 - 2000).?Adjustment. (Painted by mouth).?N.d.?Oil on canvas. Signed lower right and verso. Inscribed: "Painted by Mouth, Gerald L. Nees. Cory Ind." Nees was paralyzed in a diving accident at the age of 15. A dentist created a device that allowed him to paint with his mouth.?The is a small tear slightly open tear of a ?" lower center and a bulbous dent upper right quadrant. 20 x 20".
