Nest of Boxes. English [?], ca. 1900. A vanished ring or watch appears in the smallest of four locked wooden boxes. Fine dovetailed hardwood construction with raised framed borders stained a lighter shade, stackable, brass handles, interiors painted black, original key. Largest 8 x 5 x 7 ??. Clever method requires no offstage assistance.
