Nest of Boxes. Los Angeles: F.G. Thayer & Co. [?], ca. 1940. A vanished ring or watch reappears in the smallest of seven locked, nesting boxes. Two innermost boxes lined with crushed red velvet. With original key. Largest box 8 ? x 7 x 7?. Finish shows heavy wear and soiling, hardware corroded. Fair.
