[NEWSPAPERS]. [BASEBALL]. The Topeka State Journal. Topeka, KA: Oct. 8, 1956. 26pp. 21.25 X 15.15". "LARSEN 'PERFECT' WITH NO-HITTER," P.1. Headline article describes Yankees Pitcher Don Larsen's perfect game against the Dodgers in the 1956 World Series with a picture of Larsen at lower right. "Superman Comes to Bronxville: Don Larson [SIC], New York Yankees pitcher, is hurried off field by players and ushers after pitching the first perfect World Series game in history. Some fans try to reach Don to congratulate."
Condition
One horizontal crease with slight toning. Chipping and holes at left from disbinding. Vertical wrinkle across P.1. Small tear at bottom. Right margin misprinted, cutting off text on P.3. Unbound. Else very good.
