DANIEL WEBSTER (1782–1852), WITH NAME IN INK AT TOP. At the time, Webster was Secretary of State under President Millard Fillmore. He is one of few to have served as Secretary under three different presidents.
Light spotting and toning. Bent upper left corners. Light stain left margin. Long tear in P.1 part of which has been repaired with tape at back. Small hole P.3 at top. Loose sheets unbound. Very good.
Delivered to Hon. Daniel Webster, then Secretary of State, with his name inked on P.1 at top.
