[NEWSPAPERS]. [WWII]. The Shanghai Times. No. 18,535. Shanghai: Tuesday, May 9, 1945. 2pp. 22.75 X 17.75". GERMANY SURRENDERS P.1. English-language newspaper published under Japanese occupation in Shanghai. Front-page headlines include: "Peace Ratified At Berlin; Churchill Makes Statement" and "REICH MUST NOW FACE FACTS, SAYS DOENITZ IN APPEAL."
Condition
One horizontal and one vertical crease with toning along center fold. Slight tears at center. Light chipping at extremities. Bent upper right corner, torn upper left. Light spotting. Very good.
