Nineteenth Century Carved Courthouse Federal Eagle. American, 19th Century. Carved figure of an eagle with wings spread, head turned right, standing upon a globe/sphere. 41 x 32 x 8?. One of 13 examples believed to have been made for a courthouse in New Hampshire. Very good with typical age-related wear; minor scratches and nicks.
