OKITO (Tobais Bamberg, 1875 - 1963). Okito & Polising Advertising Postcard. Rotterdam: Annoncen-Bureau Artistique, ca. 1902. Printed postcard filled with vignettes from this early incarnation of the Okito show, with the faux Japanese magician performing in concert with an assistant in blackface. Printed back in several languages, with small mounting remnants around the perimeter. The first example we have encountered; RARE.
