P.T. Barnum's Advance Courier. New York: Wynkoop and Hallenbeck, 1871. Sixteen-page courier, stitched, for the premiere season of Barnum's circus. Illustrated throughout including a centerfold. Text in columns. 4to.
Filled with vignette illustrations and advertising text for attractions including Anna Leake, born without arms; The Infant Esau, or The Bearded Child; Mons. Goliath, the French Giant; Prof. Robert-Houdin's Dying Zouave and Pepper's The Mechanical Leotard, and other automata; wild animals; and more.

Condition
A few spots of foxing in margins, otherwise very good.
