[PAINTED MINIATURE]. [NEY, Michel, Marshal of the Empire (1769-1815), subject]. Uncommon Painted Miniature of Ney in Original Bone Frame. [Ca. 1800s]. Circular portrait of Ney, framed under glass with brass and bone frame. Faint, illegible signature on left margin. Sight approximately 2 ?? in diameter. Frame size approximately 4 ? x 4 ??. Glass is broken, several faint cracks visible to frame. Very good.
