PALGRAVE, Sir Francis Turner (1824?1897). The History of Normandy and of England. London: Macmillan and Co., 1878. 4 volume set. 8vos. First edition thus. Handsomely bound in half morocco gilt over marbled boards, raised bands with gilt rolls, compartments with gilt centerpieces and titling, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers (former ownership bookplate in each volume). A FINE SET.
