[PASTROVICCHI, Angelo]. Compendio della vita, virtua, e Miracolo di S. Giuseppe di Copertino. Turin: Nella Stamperia Reale, 1768. 12mo. Illustrated with copper engraving of Copertino levitating. Contemporary full sheep, boards ruled in blind, spine ruled, tooled, and lettered in gilt. Binding worn, soiled, spine partially perished, front joint and hinge cracked, numerous ink and pencil markings throughout, frontispiece soiled, ink markings on title-page (one is so profound, it has torn a hole on the page, with loss to text). EARLY EDITION OF THIS ACCOUNT OF ST. COPERTINO, WHO WAS SAID TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO LEVITATE.
