Carte de Visite of Mary Todd Lincoln in Inaugural Gown with a Bouquet. [New York: E. Anthony from Photographic Negative in Brady's National Portrait Gallery, 1861]. Carte de Visite albumen print on photographer's gilt-decorated mount, captioned ?Mrs. Lincoln." and with copyright. On verso is Anthony and Brady's backmark credit. Albumen approximately 3 ? x 2". Mount approximately 3 ? x 2 ?". Some rubbing to gilt on mount, light occasional toning to albumen. Fine. Rare image of Mrs. Lincoln in her inaugural gown.
