- Lot Description
[PHOTOGRAPHY]. Pair of American Photo Albums of Albumen and Tintype Portraits. [V.p., ca. 1880s-1900s]. 8vo photo albums of cabinet cards. 2 albums. Approximately 6 ? x 5? and smaller. Albums in elaborate period bindings, with 3 (out of 4) brass clasps (some general wear, soiling). Very good. Albums have a total of 59 albumen prints, and 17 tintypes; in addition, there are 2 loose albumen cabinet cards and 1 loose tintype. There is one cabinet card of Tom Thumb, but the remainder are unidentified (including one young child in circus performer garb).
