  [PHOTOGRAPHY]. SNOWDON, Lord (ARMSTRONG-JONES, Anthony Charles Robert. 1930-2017). Group of 7 First or First American Editions of Photography Books, All Signed by Him. [V.p., ca. 1972-99]. 4tos. All illustrated. Publisher's bindings, dust jackets (both copies of Assignments are price-clipped; general rubbing, occasional wear, chipping (especially to both copies of Assignments)). Very good or better. Titles include: Assignments (2 copies, American editions, one with a previous owner's gift inscription), Snowdon a Photographic Autobiography (American edition), Public Appearances (2 copies, London editions), Israel a First View (London edition), London Sight Unseen (London edition). Snowdon was a prolific photographer, most famous for photographing celebrities. He also campaigned tirelessly for disabled people, achieving major reforms to help the disabled (he had suffered from Polio as a teenager). He was married to Princess Margaret for 18 years.
