[PHOTOGRAVURES]. Art Work of Knox County, Maine. [Chicago:] The W. H. Parish Publishing Co., 1895. Folio. Illustrated with 69 photogravures on 53 plates. [xvi] text pages. Complete in 9 parts, though bound without wrappers. Approximately 13 x 10 ??. Parts rebound in late 19th century half brown morocco over brown boards, front board and spine stamped in gilt (front board with previous owner?s name in gilt, Fanny D. Gould), all edges stained red, marbled endleaves (binding somewhat worn, some occasional thumbsoiling in text, bookseller?s ticket on rp). Near fine. FIRST EDITION OF THIS RARITY.
