This is an auction replete with standouts. Works by Magritte, Tamayo, Paschke, Wirsum and multiple mixed media collages and prints from the celebrated Tony Fitzpatrick will cross the block. A significant work by Bill Traylor leads the Outsider Art session, alongside major works by Finster, Yoakum, Dial, Sparrow, and Dawson. Folk art includes a carved grotto Jesus and Devil train set sculpture from Wisconsin, and three oversize leaves by Ivan Albright lead the fine art session. PISSARRO, Camille (French, 1830-1903). Village au Pont. (Village by the Bridge). Pencil on grid paper (grid now faded). Grid on verso visually intact but toned. Initialed C. P. lower right. Illegible writing upper and 433/40 written at upper edge. 3 3/4 x 6 1/2". Frame 13 1/2 x 11 1/2".
Condition
Light stain lower center. Free sheet hinged. Top edge irregular tear. Paper toned. Good condition.
