[POLAR EXPLORATION] HURLEY, Frank, Capt. (1885?1962). Argonauts of the South. New York and London: G.P. Putnam?s Sons, 1925. 8vo. FIRST AMERICAN EDITION. Frontispiece with tissue guard, 75 illustrated plates from photographs, large folding map. Publisher?s olive-green cloth titled in gilt, top edge gilt, photo illustrated endpapers (spine gilt titling rubbed, contemporary gift inscription and booksellers? ticket to ffep; near fine). Captain Frank Hurley was the official photographer to the Shackleton Endurance Expedition.
