Poncho, Peru. Woven Textile. (Circa 200 A.D. - 400 A.D.). Plain woven textile in multi colored solid stripes. Red, green, yellow, black repeating. Camelid (alpaca) wool, rectangular textile in two panels with center slit suggesting use as a poncho. Textile 44 x 89". Structured Backing 49 x 94".
Condition
Minor wear with localized areas of staining and discoloration from use. Good condition for a textile of this age.
