Houdini, Harry (Ehrich Weisz). Portrait Photograph of Harry Houdini. Edward Saint Collection. Seattle: La Pine, ca. 1922. Iconic formal portrait of Houdini, often referred to as ?Houdini for President? as it was later used on a personality poster for the magician that resembled political posters of the era, bearing a Saint Collection hand-stamp to verso, with notations in pencil ?Aug 7th 1941 to Hardeen Jr.? Poor condition, with heavy brown staining to lower right, several tape repairs. 10 x 8?.
