[POSTCARDS]. [NATIVE AMERICANS]. Group of Fifty-four Postcards. [V.p., ca. early to mid-20th century]. Colorful postcards with depictions of Native Americans, including a set of ten Winold Reiss portraits, for the Great Northern Ry.; a set of eight H. J. Solen portraits of Doe ? Wah ? Jack; two Ridgley Calendar Publisher PPC?s with Arapahoe and Piegan braves on horseback; Four Cavendish Morton photos with Longfellow?s Song of Hiawatha quotations; and various other images of Chiefs and warriors from various tribes, including Comanches, Sioux, Arapahos, Ponca, Ojibwa (Detroit Photographic Co. Pub.), Hopi, etc. Many postally unused. An excellent group. From the Mark Rucker Collection.
