Colossal Display of Living Statues In Which Perfectly Formed Woman, Wonderfully Trained Statuesque Horses & Dogs, Are Posed in Classical Reproductions of Master Sculptors. [Erie: Erie Lithographing and Printing Co., 1931]. Gouache on board depicting a magnificent array of living statues on five elaborate displays. Image 17 ? x 26. Board 19 x 27 ??. With a marginal pencil note indicating the ?Hagenbeck-Wallace + Barnes? circuses, and with painted notes indicating that this is the basis of a twenty-sheet poster and stock number 7032. Manufacturer?s label on verso. Some wear, soiling, light chipping. Near fine.
