BUCKLEY, Arthur (1890-1953). Principles and Deceptions. Springfield, IL: Williamson Press, [1948]. 8vo. Illustrated. 224 pp. Publisher's full black textured boards, front board and spine lettered in gilt.
Condition
Some edgewear to binding, endleaves toned and offset, some occasional foxing in text, edges of text-block foxed. Very good. FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY BUCKLEY TO FELLOW MAGICIAN PAUL FLEMING ON FFEP: "5/28/48 To my good friend Paul Fleming with the compliments of Arthur Buckley." Beneath this inscription is Fleming's bookplate with his signature in blue ball-point. Also with the bookplate of magician George Oetting on the fp. An excellent association.
