PRYSE, Gerald Spencer (1881-1956). To-Morrow?When Labour Rules. 1923. London: Vincent Brooks Day & Son. Poster published by the Labour Party depicting two girls leading a group of working class people forward on a sunny path. This was part of a poster series for the Labour Party by Pryse that featured images of everyday people ?yesterday,? ?today,? and ?tomorrow,? whose lives the Labour Party promised to improve. 40 x 60?. Linen backed. Piece of image at center right edge expertly re-created; replaced loss lower right corner; repaired tears and restoration along folds and in margins. B-/C+.
