Quincy Four-Seat Soda Fountain Table. Quincy, IL: Quincy Showcase Works, ca. early 20th century. Lacquered wood ?soda fountain? display case table with attached swing-out swivel chairs. Chairs have curved metal backs with wooden seats mounted to the table on [cast iron]. The hinged glass display case is upholstered with a woven tapestry rug. With the maker?s label affixed. Display case 5 x 30 x 30?; table approx. 33 x 35 x 35?. Dings in the wood where the swing-chairs hit the table; apparent later refinishing, paint to chair backs and lacquer to table; general surface wear, scattered scuffing, dust accumulation. Originally from Cobbs Pharmacy in Houston, Mississippi. Third party shipping required.
