RAMUS, Michael (1917?2005). Myths, Maps & Men: Merrill Lynch Salutes the Year of the Moon. 1969. Pictorial map of the moon, commissioned by Merrill Lynch to celebrate the ?year of the Moon? and the Apollo space missions of 1969. The map marks the landing sites of the Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 astronauts, and depicts a Saturn V rocket at the center. Presidents John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, and Lyndon Johnson are shown on an eagle at the top, holding an banner with Neil Armstrong?s famous quote: ?One small step for man?? 14 ? x 17?. Sharp folds as issued. A/A-.
