Contemporary calf ruled in gilt, raised bands, red morocco lettering?piece gilt (some splitting along joints, light wear at ends). Provenance: Thomas Rochfort (armorial bookplate); Vincent Lloyd?Russell (bookplate). FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, translated from the original French.
