RUSSELL, Lillian (1861-1922). Handwritten and signed note. December 2, 1902. ALS on embossed stationery. 8vo, double sided note. Lillian Russell writes, ?Dear Mrs. Ayers, I must beg your pardon for what may seem negligence on my part - The tea has been in my house. If you want a box for next Friday, let me know and I will get it for you.? Corner creasing. Occasional bleed-through. Overall very good. Accompanied by letter of provenance from Signature House.
