- Lot Description
[SALESMAN'S SAMPLE]. Salesman's Sample Model for a Spinning Carnival Ride. [Milwaukee, WI and Wichita, KS: Mitchell Mfg. Co., ca. 20th century]. Metal model of a spinning ride, with a triangular top half and a circular seating area where guests presumably sit. With wooden base and metal rod to support this ride. Model is approximately 18" high and 22" in diameter when on base. Housed in original manufacturer's circular cardboard case with lift-off lid (some rubbing to model, case worn, soiled, handle and a few straps are broken. Fine. An unusual salesman's sample/model.
