Samsung Model SPH-N270 Matrix Reloaded Movie Tie-In Phone. Seoul: Samsung Telecommunications America, 2003. Fully functional The Matrix Reloaded tie-in phone, original in box. 8 x 5 ? x 2?. LIMITED EDITION one of 2,000 copies issued in North America. Manufactured as a fully-functional phone, the SPH-N270 was unique as it featured a spring-loaded earpiece which snapped up to reveal a screen with a scrolling green code against a black background. When the phone is turned on a message reading ?Hello? pops up and when it is turned off the message reads ?Good-bye,? reminiscent of Neo?s first encounter with The Matrix. Provenance: The Wachowskis.
