Argent Bien Plac?! Paris: Aaron Martinet, ca. 1820. Hand colored engraving of ?Money well spent!? depicting the return of the Bourbon rulers after the Revolution surrounded by nobility and politicians pledging loyalty, the Church taking its share, and the working man complaining about his burden. 9 x 12?. Light staining at margins; strong impression.
