Heath, William. Cartoon Etching by Capt. William Heath. London: Royal Library, 1823. An original hand colored etching by Heath featuring satirical vignettes including ?Achilles in Petticoats? features a nude statue in a pink dress, ?Wheel of Fortune? depicts down-on-their-luck gents working the treadmill at the workhouse, and ?Fruits of Geneva? referring to the addictions to gin. 10 x 13 ??. Marginal toning; near fine.
