Portrait frontispiece after a drawing by Hermann Struck. Original gilt?lettered blue cloth (spine a bit darkened, ends frayed with some loss, front hinge gently cracked at half?title, some partially erased penciled equations and inscriptions to pastedowns). FIRST AMERICAN EDITION of Einstein?s cornerstone work on general relativity.
