[SCRAPBOOK]. A scrapbook of primarily German-language articles about circuses and circus acts. [Circa nineteenth century to early twentieth century] Numerous news clippings and articles, many of which are illustrated. Scrapbook 19 x 12?. Covers lacking. Most articles are toned, some with tears and brittle paper, most with visible glue residue (several leaves have no articles). Laid-in are a few engraved leaves of street performers from Le Monde Illustre, a page from The New York Clipper advertising ?The Barnum and London Shows?.
