Coates for Robert Allot, 1632]. 4to. 277 [sic] ? 303 pp. Approximately 12 ? x 8 ?". Beautifully bound to style in modern three-quarter blue levant morocco over blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt, two raised bands (minor rubbing, soiling to binding, text mildly toned with occasional soiling). Fine.THE COMPLETE PLAY OF ?THE WINTER'S TALE," FROM THE SECOND FOLIO. Text in double-columns, woodcut head-, tail-pieces, and initials. Although originally considered a comedy, it has recently been re-classified as a romance. It has been extensively performed and adapted for centuries. Pforzheimer 906. Measurements: 10"L x 9"W x 1"H.
